The relevant standards for Cat8 8 network lines were officially issued by the TR-43 Committee of the American Association of Communications Industries (TIA) in 2016. The specifications are as follows:
1. It conforms to the standard of IE802.3bq 25G/40GBASE-T, and stipulates the minimum transmission rate of Cat8 8 network lines, which can support 25 Gbps and 40 Gbps network wiring.
2. It conforms to the ANSI/TIA-568-C.2-1 standard. It specifies the channels and permanent links of Cat8 network lines, and includes the restrictions of resistance imbalance, TCL and ELTCTL.
3. It conforms to the ANSI/TIA-1152-A standard and stipulates the measurement and accuracy requirements of Cat 8 type on-site testing instrument.
4. It conforms to ISO/IEC-11801 standard and specifies the channels and permanent links of Cat8 8 network lines of I/II type.
